Iberia is located in southeastern Miller County in the Ozarks of Central Missouri. The city is at the intersection of routes 17 and 42. Lake of the Ozarks State Park is approximately 12 miles to the west on route 42.

As of the census of 2010, there were 736 people, 287 households, and 185 families residing in the city. The population density was 836.4 inhabitants per square mile (322.9/km2). There were 347 housing units at an average density of 394.3 per square mile (152.2/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 95.8% White, 0.8% African American, 1.1% Native American, 0.7% from other races, and 1.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.0% of the population.
