There were 291 housing units at an average density of 44.4 per square mile (17.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.32% White, 0.17% Black or African American, 0.17% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 0.17% Pacific Islander, and 1.01% from two or more races.

There were 259 households out of which 29.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.6% were married couples living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% were non-families. 27.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
