Lakeview is a census-designated place (CDP) in Catoosa and Walker counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 4,820 at the 2000 census and 4,839 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chattanooga, TN–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4,820 people, 1,996 households, and 1,413 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,112.1 people per square mile (816.2/km²). There were 2,160 housing units at an average density of 946.5/sq mi (365.8/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.93% White, 0.62% African American, 0.50% Native American, 0.77% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.17% from other races, and 0.98% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.91% of the population.

There were 1,996 households out of which 27.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.4% were married couples living together, 11.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.2% were non-families. 25.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
