Sherman Township is a civil township of Huron County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,165 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 44.2 square miles (114.3 km²), of which 44.1 square miles (114.3 km²) is land and 0.02% is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1,165 people, 444 households, and 343 families residing in the township. The population density was 26.4 per square mile (10.2/km²). There were 620 housing units at an average density of 14.0 per square mile (5.4/km²).
