Riyadh (/r??j??d/; Arabic: ???????, translit. ar-Riy?? [ar.ri?ja?d?], Najdi pronunciation: [er.r??j??ð?]) is the capital and most populous city of Saudi Arabia, approximately 790 km (491 mi) North-east of Mecca.
