Verified positive results in screening proceed to be confirmed through GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, or LC/MS/MS methods. Before confirmation, all presumptive positives undergo washing if necessary. The whole process, from Accessioning to Confirmation, is rigorously evaluated under the CAP (College of American Pathologists) Hair standards and ISO / IEC 17025 accreditation.
