DOT physical examinations are comprehensive health assessments mandated by the Department of Transportation for CMV drivers. These evaluations verify that drivers are physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of safely managing large vehicles on public roadways. What Will Fail a DOT Physical?

- Respiratory & Sleep: Untreated sleep apnea or significant lung disease causing day fatigue or low oxygen.
- Neuro Disorders: Epilepsy/seizures (unless exempt), conditions with blackout risks or tremors.
- Substance Issues: Illegal drug use, alcohol misuse, or problematic prescription medication usage.
- Mental & Cognitive: Severe psychiatric conditions with recent episodes or impairments affecting decision-making.

This is by far the easiest
This is by far the easiest way to get my lab work ordered and paid for. The phone calls are short and to the point.
