DOT physical examinations are comprehensive health assessments mandated by the Department of Transportation for CMV drivers. What Will Fail a DOT Physical?

- Respiratory & Sleep: Untreated sleep apnea or significant lung disease causing day fatigue or low oxygen.
- Neuro Disorders: Epilepsy/seizures (unless exempt), conditions with blackout risks or tremors.
- Substance Issues: Illegal drug use, alcohol misuse, or problematic prescription medication usage.
- Mental & Cognitive: Severe psychiatric conditions with recent episodes or impairments affecting decision-making.
Some cases can temporarily disqualify until medical documentation is provided (e.g., controlled blood pressure). Others, like untreated epilepsy or implanted defibrillators, are permanent disqualifications under FMCSA rules.

This is by far the easiest
This is by far the easiest way to get my lab work ordered and paid for. The phone calls are short and to the point. I needed a quick drug test for visitation with my children. I called at 6am they answered and set me up with a place a couple miles from my house to go get the test done, that was on Wednesday, I had the results on Friday afternoon and was able to see my kids on Saturday. Thank you for the help!

Polite
I ran into a situation because the Guthrie had closed and I had to go to well care and they were right on it. I had no problems when I called to get connected with welcare everything worked out and I didn't even have to wait.they were polite and talked with the receptionist for me once I got them on the phone.
