Confirmation of any positive Screening results is performed via GC/MS, GC/MS/MS or LC/MS/MS methods. All prescreened positive samples are cleansed before confirmation as required. From Accessioning through Confirmation, the whole laboratory operation adheres to both the CAP (College of American Pathologists) Hair protocol and ISO / IEC 17025 accreditation standards.
